Bound 4 Glory
WE ARE BOUND 4 GLORY…OUR ETERNAL DESTINY IS SECURE! THE CHRISTIAN LIFE IS A JOURNEY WHICH CULMINATES WITH JESUS CHRIST IN ETERNAL GLORY.
By the grace of God, BOUND 4 GLORY was brought together in December of 2006. We come from various musical backgrounds, but share a love for Christ and have a real desire to share the musical talents we've been blessed with.
BOUND 4 GLORY is a gospel quartet made up of four Christian men. Matt Troost, the tenor, is a parts manger and has sung with the Grand Rapids Metropolitan Choir of Praise. Randy Van Dyke sings the melody and works as a carpenter. He has sung in a quartet with his brothers called the Van Dyke Quartet. The bass, Mike Netts, is an insurance estimator. He has been associated with various groups in high school and has sung with two prominent groups, the Grand Rapids Metropolitan Choir of Praise and the King's Choraliers. Jerry Koning is a school teacher. He was formerly the baritone for Renewed, a Christian gospel quartet, and he presently directs the senior choir at First Byron CRC.
BOUND 4 GLORY exists to praise God for His Goodness, to bless the hearts of His children wherever they may be found, and to present the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world. We are thankful God has brought us together and count it a privilege to spread the gospel through song.
Bound 4 Glory will be our Special Music during our Worship Service on Sunday, September 12. Following our morning worship service we will have a church potluck.
September 12 Potluck
Please join us for a Potluck on Sunday, September 12 immediately following the worship service. Take this time for fellowship with your church family and with the group Bound 4 Glory.
We ask that you bring a dish to pass. Drinks and place settings will be provided.

If you have any questions or would like to place and order please contact Roxanne.

The Love Revolution
Possibly one of Joyce Meyer’s most urgent books, The Love Revolution forces you to answer the question, “What are you doing for others?” Your answer could change your life and your world.

CHRISTIAN MUSIC JAM NIGHT
September 26, at 6:30 p.m., is an evening set aside at the Coopersville United Methodist Church, 105 N. 68th Street, Coopersville, for those who want to listen to and/or participate in Christian music of all kinds to glorify God. Some of the music is good for sing-along or play along, some is newly created music in contemporary styles, and some is specific music offered by individuals or groups who have found a particular instrumental or vocal piece to be uplifting. Acoustic and electronic instruments are invited to share the time. Keyboards and a drum set are available in the Worship Center for use by all. An accompanist is available for soloists who need one. Sign-in begins at 6:30 p.m. with set-ups, warm-ups, etc., completed by shortly before 7:00. Jamming begins at 7:00. Refreshments are available afterwards.
Come as you are. This is a “Run what you brung” opportunity (to use race-track vernacular), for those who enjoy being a part of a musical experience—the only criterion being that the music should represent a content that is meaningful to the relationship between the performer(s) and the Lord. Call Jerre Jean Conran (997-6607) if you have any questions. The next date is October 24, November 28.
